Écho
2020.

In Clichy-Sous-Bois (in the north of Paris, France), a new cultural center, Écho has just been established. It allows a new access to culture for all the Clichois (inhabitants of Clichy-sous-Bois) and the Parisians. An applied art school also takes place in the cultural center, as well as an artist residence.

A name based on the idea of resonances specific to urban noise. A simple logotype favoring a graphic treatment strongly loaded down with strong visual elements.

Calling card

The posters show the symbols, as well as the color and typography of each pole.

Cultural resonances
Core target
• The Clichois
• The youth of Clichy and Paris
• General public
• Culture and art lovers
of everywhere.
In order to revalue the parisian suburb of Clichy-Sous-Bois, a new cultural center, Écho is established instead of the Utrillo Tower in the city. Its name and graphic identity are based on the idea of resonance, specific to urban sounds and noises, and bring values such as exchange, openness, and cultural elevation.
Its visual identity spread on three main poles :
• The cultural pole (exhibitions, events and performances)
• The applied art school pole
• The pole reserved to receive some artists in residence, which provide studios and some spaces to exhibit their works.
