du design, de ses valeurs, ses enjeux et ses répercussions positives sur la croissance et l'innovation des entreprises qui y ont recours.
The Agency for the Promotion of Industrial Creation is a structure that seeks to highlight and promote design and its actors. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, APCI wishes to provide the general public with an explanatory and informative brochure about design, its values, its issues and its positive impact on the growth and innovation of companies that resort to design.

Promote design, its values and its challenges

To express the notion of design-related activity in general, and to connote the APCI's desire to promote design, we chose a lengthy portrait format. Each sheet is composed of a front page with the editorial content and a plain dark blue back; the chromatic choices are thus consistent with those of the APCI site, and on the other hand, the two shades of blue express the importance and depth of every different field of design. The sheets will all be connected as a "fan shape" with a rivet, like a color chart, and refer to the panel of different fields of design.
Regarding the typographic angle, the choice fell on a didone headline font, elegant and imposing at the same time, on the occasion of the 30th birthday of the APCI: it stands out from the linear font universe very used by the APCI. Nevertheless, a refined linear font has been chosen for the body of the text, in order to preserve an optimal readability and reading comfort, and to contrast with the headline font.
