Try out
On the occasion of the year of graphic design in 2014, we seek to introduce the profession of graphic designer and the values which this profession defends, hence the creation of the number zero of a mook (editorial hybrid between the book and the magazine) of a hundred pages dealing with a theme about contemporary graphic design.

Try out? in English means "to experiment, to test". The logo includes a question mark to highlight the notions of questioning and reflection that come up to the graphic designer throughout the creative process, and which underlie the experimentation.

The graphic designer during the creative process is led to ask questions, to think about concepts and hypotheses, to propose tests, to find techniques. He realizes a real mise en abyme of his thought to better draw the keys of his creation.

A contemporary reflection on graphic design
Core target
• Art school students
• Graphic design lovers.
This mook is called Try out ?, which in English means "to experiment, to test". It explores the theme of experimentation in a general sense, and focuses on the different processes and techniques used in the field of graphic design. He broaches a reflection on the wide possibilities of the world of creation by exploring a universe on the border between art and graphic design. This mook relies among other things on auteur graphic design as a support for the reflection trails he proposes.
